- What does American Best Life do?
- American Best Life manufactures dietary supplements for brands. ABL develops formulas for brands as well as manufacturing to the brand's own formula. Products are made in California, USA.
- Can you develop a formula for my brand?
- Yes. If you already have a formula, we review it and its raw materials. If you don’t, our R&D team develops one from your product goal and target market, then makes samples for your approval.
- Which dosage forms do you manufacture?
- Hard capsules, tablets, softgels, powders and granules, and gummies. Sizes and specifications for each form are on the Dosage Forms page.
- What registrations and certifications does the facility hold?
- FDA food facility registration; cGMP certification audited by SGS; cGMP certification by NSF (NSF/ANSI 455-2); and California (CDPH) processed food registration. Testing is done with a partner laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
- What is your minimum order quantity?
- Per formula: capsules and tablets from 150,000 pieces (about 5,000 bottles of 30); softgels from 300,000 pieces; powders from 500 kg; gummies: Quoted per project. Final quantities are confirmed in your quote.
- How long do samples and production take?
- Samples: Confirmed in your quote. Production: Confirmed in your quote. Timing depends on the formula, raw material availability and packaging.
- What should I send to get a quote?
- A short product brief: the dosage form (or “not decided”), whether you have a formula, the dose per serving or key ingredients, the first-order quantity, the target market and timing. A reference product label also helps.
- How are raw materials and finished products checked?
- Raw materials: Identity and specification checks under our cGMP procedures (21 CFR Part 111). Finished products: COA terms are agreed in your quality agreement.
- Do the ingredients on your Formulation page mean you supply them?
- No. The trend charts on our Formulation page show research activity and products on the market. They are not product claims, usage advice, or a statement of what ABL can source. Ingredients are sourced and qualified for each project.
