Information we collect

Information you give us. When you send a product brief or contact us, we receive your company name, your name, your email address, your phone number if you provide it, and the project details you enter (such as dosage form, formula status, dose or ingredients, quantity, target market, sales channel, timing and your message). The form also sends the address of the page you submitted it from and the language you were using. Please do not include sensitive personal information, such as health information about yourself or others, in the form.

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, the site that referred you and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Our hosting provider keeps server logs (such as IP address, request time and the page requested) to operate and secure the site. When you submit the form, our server also records a short log entry (your company name, site language and the dosage forms selected) so we can troubleshoot delivery. We also set a cookie that remembers your language choice.

In the categories used by California law, this information is: identifiers (such as name, email address, phone number and IP address); professional or commercial information (such as your company and project details); internet or other electronic network activity (such as pages viewed and browser type); and approximate geolocation derived from your IP address. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information. We collect this information directly from you, from your browser or device, and through our service providers.

How we use information

We use the information to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotes, communicate with you about your project, understand how the site is used and improve it, keep the site secure, and meet legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising: Google signals and ad personalization are turned off in our Google Analytics code. We share it only with service providers that work on our behalf: Resend, which delivers the messages you send through our forms to our inbox and may keep a copy for a limited time to provide that service; our business email provider, where those messages are stored; Google, which provides Google Analytics; and Vercel, which hosts the site and keeps its server logs. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of business assets.

Cookies, Do Not Track and third-party tracking

The site uses these cookies: Google Analytics cookies (named “_ga” and “_ga_” followed by an ID), which tell visits apart and by default last up to two years; and “NEXT_LOCALE”, which may be set to remember your language and is deleted when you close your browser.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Our site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Google Analytics may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry messages and related business records for as long as needed to respond to you, to manage any business relationship that follows, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Google Analytics data is kept according to the data-retention setting in our Analytics account, and hosting logs are kept for the limited period set by our hosting provider.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, or to access, correct or delete the personal information you have sent us, by emailing info@americanbestlife.com or calling +1 (866) 586-6888. To protect your information, we will verify your request by matching details you give us with what we hold, such as the email address you used. You may use an authorized agent, who must show us your signed permission. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under applicable law; we will respond to requests within the time that law requires. We do not sell personal information and do not collect sensitive personal information.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, and the site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure.

Where information is processed

We are based in the United States. Our hosting and email delivery providers process information mainly in the United States, and Google may process Analytics data in other countries. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
